Two minds. One Vision. Creating Stylish Experiences!


Lotus Events was founded in May of 2009 by Lisa Marie Gierak and Samantha James. Both entertainment industry and event stylist alumni with a strong desire to create a company founded in the things they love most: parties, flowers, music, creativity, good people, good friends, delicious food, and tasty drinks! Lotus Events is a firm based in Toronto that serves both domestic clientele.
Our staff are all women under 30, meaning we’re constantly on the look out for fresh ideas, products or perspectives. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of current trends, classic elements, and the juvenescence we bring to any project.

We utilize the incredible talents of our amazing staff and relationships with the highest caliber of vendors. We create high-end events, from movie premiers to destination weddings by producing the entire event or just a specialized portion.We’re known throughout the industry for our passion for parties, our enthusiasm for what we do, and how much fun we are to work with.

We throw parties for goodness sake, the entire process should be as enjoyable for our clients as it is for us! So while you’ll always find us to be incredibly professional, you’ll also find that we’re incredibly down to earth and low maintenance.

Since we are not yet a legitimate small business, we can only offer our services through personal referrals. We are planning to obtain our professional certification and business license in the near future so stay tuned! For now, we are trying to get our name across through our friends and family! Lotus Events presents ... Purse Swap Party






















It's a Celebration for Girlfriends!

We are getting ready for the our first Purse Swap Party. Yes, we know that this may be a new concept to some but we are sure that you'll love it.


When: Saturday June 13th, 2009
Where: 163 Morton Way Brampton Ontario, L6Y 2P7
Time: 3pm-6pm


This is how it works.


Each lady brings 1 or 2 purses; purses that she would still be proud to carry to the party. Everyone draws numbers and takes turns grabbing a new purse.




Here are the rules:


All purses will be on display for all to see. There will be two categories: one for Designer Purses (5th Ave)and one for Fashionista Purses (4th ave). The swapping will begin at 4:30 sharp.

We will Draw numbers (15 guests:15 numbers).

Go around the room one time for each person to get up and pick out a new purse.

Go around the room again. Each person who brought a 2nd purse gets to go again.

Draw numbers again for the new purse swap. Mix things up a bit; start at the highest number first, for instance.




There will be a surprise raffle for a designer piece -- 1 for 2$ or 3 for 5$




light appetizers and refreshments will be served.
